WASSILISSA

Nicole plays Wassilissa and the stepmother, Martin the father, the stepmother, Baba Jaga and the tsar. The props are a twelve-foot frame, three small steps, a copper pot with giant wooden cutlery, smoke, fire on hand, not to mention 4 skulls. The text allows the audience to understand the story's unfolding, the music takes on the emotional charge, and the acrobatic sequences translate into action all that the words do not say... simple and multifaceted, dramatic and serious, funny and light.
