While traveling through the forest, the four animals encounter a band of highwaymen. Together they manage to drive them out of their home. Will they ever reach their destination in Bremen? The animals find their “Bremen” or happiness here, and Bremen as a city will lose its importance... a fun show with deep symbolism.
