Robinia delle Valli
An adventurous journey through the Centovalli, based on the legend of Robin Hood.
Robinia of the Valleys is brave and strong, daring, funny, reckless, and an outlaw; no one can compete with her in archery. She is a cunning lawbreaker, but also a true friend of the people. She fights selflessly for justice because it is in danger. The richest people take over everything they need to be well off, making the poor poorer and themselves richer and richer. Robinia and her friends no longer tolerate this. Their motto is: We steal from the rich and give to the poor! The count and his henchmen want to nab her. But Robinia fears nothing.
We tell the story of the people of the Centovalli, the women who rebelled and fought poverty. In our story, it is Robinia of the Valleys – not Robin Hood of Nottingham – who lives with her gang in the forests of the Centovalli and fights against injustice. No wonder! There are still injustices in the world. Although some say that Robinia has never existed and never will, we know that this is not true. Robinia is in all of us!
